Watermelon seeds are small and black/brown. There are between 300-500 seeds in a watermelon, depending on the size of course. Although usually discarded, the seeds are edible and delicious when roasted.

Cultivation and Production: India is a leading producer and exporter of watermelon kernel in the world, and Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, West Bengal are some of the states that cultivate watermelon. 

In India, it is mainly harvested in April to May.

Usage :
